Atopic Dermatitis is cause by abnormalities in the skin structure, causing the skin to lose water. When the skin loses a lot of water, the skin becomes dry and easily inflamed. Symptoms range from acute, subacute, and chronic. Symptoms in children of different ages are different. If the child is under 2 years old, it is usually on the cheeks, forehead, neck, outer arms and legs, wrists, and ankles. In older children, it is usually on the folds of the arms, legs, feet, and ankles. If the patient has the first symptoms of this disease when they are adults, it is usually harder to cure than patients who have symptoms when they are children.

Basic skin care should be done regularly to help reduce the recurrence of rashes.
